Costume boots worn by Carl Hall for the Wizard in "The Wiz: The Super Soul Musical 'Wonderful Wizard of Oz'" on Broadway. It was a 1975, all-Black cast adoption of "The Wizard of Oz" on Broadway. These boots are made from leather that is painted white. The word "Wiz" is handwritten in black ink on the bottom of the rubber sole on both boots. "Hall" is handwritten in purple ink on the arch of the sole of both boots. Carl Hall was was an American singer, actor, and musical arranger.
