Peace Keeper
Wooden Baseball Bat that kept the peace on the field.
About the Model
In 1978, during his high school shop class, Howard Martinez with the help from his father, made this small wooden baseball bat. Howard and his brothers called it the "Peace Keeper" because whoever had the bat had the final say in any disagreements on the field. Howard's father was an amateur baseball player in Texas, Mexico, and Southern California for 30 years. In the 1940s he played for the Mexican National Baseball Team.
