About the Model
For more than a decade, the Cassini Space Craft revealed in great detail the true wonders of Saturn, from methane rivers to gas blasting into space. Aboard Cassini was Huygen's probe, designed to study the smog-like atmosphere of Saturn's largest moon Titan. It also carried cameras to photograph the moon's surface. After 13 years exploring Saturn and 20 years in space, Cassini exhausted its fuel supply and plunged into Saturn’s atmosphere on Sept. 15, 2017.
